The story behind the shows

About Fiction.show

Fiction.show makes the tools that turn a book into a show: a desktop production pipeline, and the courses that teach the craft behind it.

It's built by Novae Caelum (he/they), an author and publisher, and the studio behind it is a one-person company, Novae Caelum Studios, LLC. Novae wanted to see his own stories as shows, discovered how far AI filmmaking tools could take one determined author, and built the thing he wished existed: a place where author-made shows are gathered, watchable, and celebrated.

Everything starts with a book and its author. You write the story, direct the adaptation, and make the creative calls; AI production tools are how one person on a budget gets it on screen. The last cut is always yours: Studio delivers the footage, and the pacing, the sound, and the decision that it's finished stay with you.

Fiction.show is for every kind of storyteller. It's queernorm by design. Queer and trans authors and characters are named plainly and celebrated here, as a natural fact of the work. If Hollywood isn't making shows like yours, you can.

We're building two things side by side: Fiction.show Studio, the desktop production pipeline that turns books and screenplays into footage, and courses that teach the craft of AI filmmaking.
