Fiction.show Official Skills License

1. Scope and ownership

This license covers the official Fiction.show skill instructions and accompanying files in this skill folder (the “Skills”), except material expressly identified as subject to separate terms. Novae Caelum Studios, LLC retains ownership of its material. Contributors retain ownership of their original modifications. This license grants permissions, not ownership.

2. Personal and commercial use

If you lawfully receive the Skills from Fiction.show or through sharing permitted below, you receive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to copy, install, use, and privately modify them for personal and commercial work. You may load them into your AI clients and services for that work and keep private backups or synced copies. Those private uses are not public redistribution. You may provide access to your employees, contractors, or chosen AI services solely as needed to assist with your permitted use; that access alone gives them no independent right to distribute or resell the Skills.

You may publish, distribute, and sell films, books, artwork, and other projects or outputs created using the Skills. No credit, attribution, copyright notice, or license notice is required in those projects or outputs. These permissions do not authorize distributing the Skills themselves as part of an output or product.

3. Sharing within the community

You may share the Skills and modified versions free of charge in resource-sharing spaces designated by Fiction.show within its official community. Include this LICENSE.md, retain existing copyright and license notices in the shared files, and clearly identify modified versions as modified, not official releases.

You may modify versions previously modified by another member and share your version under these same conditions. By sharing your original modifications under this license, you grant recipients the same permissions for those modifications. Each recipient receives permission directly from each contributor for the rights that contributor holds. This permission extends through successive modifications and resharings; earlier contributions remain covered by their applicable licenses. Do not impose conflicting restrictions on contributions already covered by this license. Only contribute material you have the rights to license this way. Recipients may use the shared versions commercially without giving credit in their finished work.

Sharing your original modifications in the community does not, by itself, authorize Fiction.show to distribute those modifications as part of its official app, official skill downloads, or other reusable resource products. Fiction.show will obtain separate permission for that use unless it is independently allowed by applicable law or another license.

4. Redistribution and sales limits

You may not redistribute, repost, publish, or otherwise make the Skills or modified versions available outside those designated community spaces without separate permission from Novae Caelum Studios, LLC and, where applicable, the owners of included modifications. A contributor's permission for their own changes does not grant permission for the underlying official Skills.

You may not sell, sublicense for a fee, or include the Skills or modified versions in a paid resource bundle. This restriction does not prevent selling your finished projects or services created using the Skills.

You may not sell the Skills or modified versions on their own, or distribute them as part of another product, without separate permission from the relevant rights holders.

5. Continuing permission

The permissions granted for a version you lawfully received are irrevocable for the duration of the applicable rights, provided you comply with this license. Removing a post, leaving the community, or releasing a later version does not withdraw those permissions. If a recipient breaches this license, that recipient’s permission to use the affected Skills terminates. This does not revoke permissions they previously and validly granted to others, or permissions held by other recipients who remain in compliance. Removal of a resource does not require continued hosting or support.

Subscription cancellation. Canceling or allowing your Fiction.show subscription to expire does not terminate your permission to use or modify Skills you lawfully received under this license, including versions you have modified. Cancellation or expiration alone is not a breach of this license. These permissions do not include continued access to subscription-only app features, future skill updates, downloads, or support.

6. Other rights and services

This license does not grant access to the Fiction.show Studio app, paid courses, provider accounts, or other services, which have their own terms. It grants no right to claim official endorsement or ownership of another person's work. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable terms, and rights that cannot lawfully be restricted are unaffected.

7. No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the Skills are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Their authors and contributors are not liable for losses arising from their use. You remain responsible for reviewing agent actions, provider charges, and outputs.
