Install Studio and sign in

Download the app

1. Sign in to your Fiction.show account using the email address that received access or was used for your purchase.
2. Open your account page and choose the Mac Apple Silicon, Mac Intel, or Windows installer that matches your computer.
3. Follow the installer instructions, open Studio, and sign in with the same account.

Creating a website account does not by itself grant Studio access. If your download is missing even though you were invited or purchased access, contact hello@fiction.show with the email address you used. Do not send your password.

Reset a forgotten password

1. Choose Forgot password on the sign-in page and enter your account email address.
2. Keep the recovery page open. Copy the recovery code from the newest email, enter it on that page, and choose Verify code.
3. After the code is verified, choose and save your new password, then sign in again. If the code has expired, choose Send a new code and use the newest email.

If no email arrives, check that you entered the correct address and contact support if you are still stuck. Repeated requests may trigger a cooldown; follow the message on the page.

Keep your installation current

Use Studio’s update prompt when one is offered, or get the current installer from your account. Keep a separate backup of your project folder before updating. If your computer reports a security or signature warning, send the exact message to support rather than disabling its protections.
